Post-Dilatation Catheter Pearl NC
The Pearl NC Post-Dilation Catheter has an integrated shaft system and a balloon near the distal tip. The shaft has a combination of a single lumen and a dual lumen tube. One lumen is used to inflate the balloon with contrast medium. A second lumen in the distal shaft allows the use of a guidewire to facilitate advancement of the dilation catheter into and through the stenosis for dilation.
The balloon has two radiopaque markers to facilitate positioning of the balloon in the stenosis and is designed to provide an expandable segment of known diameter and length at a specific pressure. The proximal shaft has proximal markers that help measure the position of the dilation catheter relative to the tip of the guide catheter (the marker closest to the dilation catheter adapter is for femoral guiding catheters and the other marker is for brachial guiding catheters). Available balloon diameter from 1.5 mm to 5 mm, balloon length from 8 to 40 mm.Indications for use
